Lost Reparation
Season - Winter Weather - The autumn equinox is over, and the last of the chinook winds have since passed. The weather can only put emphasis on the city's physical and economical dilapidation. The sun penetrates the darkness for scarcely six hours and only than is it seen when the clouds permit. Dogs would do well to find shelter, or perish from overexposure. Breeding- Yes Whelping- None till spring	Know of our plight We owe them nothing Every week that passes cannot bring us far enough away from that fateful time when we abandoned in our most desperate hour. The aftermath itself holds the city in a fog of despair and neglect. The few of us that survived sometimes wished we didn't. This god forsaken city is a hell in itself. To recount in detail the horror that plagued us is not an option, so a simple summary must suffice to tell you what the ruins cannot. It started with a cold winter rife with snow, the likes of which has not been seen in this area for nearly three decades. The beginning of the end came, ironically, with spring. The rain fell for nearly a week till the higher elevation snows thawed and poured their contents into the bay faster than any could've imagined. The floods reached all parts of the city, destroying most of it. The humans left, leaving us to the mercy of the water. They never offered us reparation for their abandonment; they simply left us- alone, vulnerable, and destitute It is now that the era of the Lost Reparation begins. This area was damaged by the flood and little foliage remains aside from the trunks of various types of trees. A cracked and weathered pathway winds its way through the park, and recently it has rarely been frequented by humans. Home of the (pack 2) Moderator: Trua 0 0 Warehouse by the docks These strays occupy a small warehouse by the doc, intended for use during the spring of the flood. It was abadoned, as the cost of repairing the delapitated building was not a worthy investment. Tattered fishing nets scatter the floor along with ruined crates and packing supplies. Home of (pack 2) Moderator: Trua 0 0 The City The Broken Road The old road that leads into the town carries little human traffic, and instead leads the new strays into the city. The road, once paved, now hold only short lengthes of worn and cracked tar. Dogs searching for a pack often wander this neutral territory in hopes of finding one who will accept them. 0 0 Gleeson Street This is what remains of the city's tourist branch. Tourists are slowly beginning to revisit the area to admire the mountainous scenery as well as the ruins of the city. The buildings are dressed up to look old-fashioned and the whole street holds an artificial air about itself. This is the best place to obtain food- though since the flood only one or two of the restaurants have reopened. Food is currently scarce. 0 0 The Bay The edge of the bay has since receded from the flood and now laps placidly against the sandy beach. The breeze carries the scent of salted waters to all who care to seek it. Moderator: Trua 0 0 The Docks There are several docks that stem from the shore. They are constantly busy in the summer, though business slows in winter because of unpredictable weather. The Dead Oak An oak tree, long dead, stands by the shack where an old man lives. Concrete is cracked and upturned in places because of the tree's roots. The old man that occupies the hut throws all his filth and garbage only a few feet from his decrepid hut. For those with a sharp nose, they are often rewarded with a bite to eat.
